We Love You, Johnny

You know, Joel and his family are so spiritual and Johnny soaked in that knowledge of the faith, God’s love and how we should treat others.  Johnny was an amazing Christian who focused on the downcast, the lonely, the elderly, the under-loved and misunderstood people he met.  I’ve always known that he was drawn to others in this way, but I’m hearing story after story about his walk with Jesus and how he literally took Jesus’ command to love “others as I have loved you”.  He lived the 8 Beatitudes and the Corporal Works of Mercy.  Johnny lived God’s word.  The amount of people whose lives he has touched is astounding.  In his short 17 years he helped more people with his attention, his time, his words of encouragement and his love than most of us ever will.  We will strive to follow his example.
